Patricia Hoffman
Founder and Co-Director of Ballet Society of Colorado Springs and Colorado’s Classical Youth Ballet, and Principal Teacher

Since 1994, Patricia Hoffman has invested much of her life in the training and mentoring of dance students in the Colorado Springs area. Each year her students have been awarded top honors in ballet competitions, as well as appearing locally as principal performers in professional touring productions. Several of her students have gone on to fulfilling careers in some of America’s most prestigious dance companies. Ms. Hoffman founded Ballet Society of Colorado Springs Inc. in September of 1997. Before relocating to Colorado Springs, she was the founder and Director of La Jolla Festival Ballet and Dance Center in Southern California for 10 years. She began her studies in Monterey, California, with Patricia Wester. At age 16, she began to study full time with England’s Ballet Rambert. Under John Hart, C.B.E., former Royal Ballet Assistant Director, Patricia received her MFA in classical ballet. She performed principal roles created for her with Ballet International and San Diego Ballet. Ms. Hoffman directed and taught in London; at the San Diego Ballet School; and the U.S. International Univ., Conservatory of the Arts.
