Erin Hauger Hackel
Soprano Erin Hauger Hackel is a native of Winchester, VA, and received a Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from James Madison University, a Masters of Music in opera from SUNY Binghamton, and her DMA in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from CU Boulder. She is currently on the voice faculty at CU Denver and sings with Central City Opera’s Outreach Ensemble.
Past roles include Susanna and Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro and Juliette and Stephano in Romeo et Juliette. While at CU Boulder she performed the roles of Adele in Die Fledermaus, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, and Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore. Erin lives in Louisville with her husband and two year old son, Henry.
