Jessica Oliver
Jessica Oliver moved to Colorado Springs this past Sepetember from Chicago to study with Martile Rowland. Back in May, she completed her Masters of Music at North Park University where she performed such roles as Mere Marie in Dialogues de Carmelites, Marcellina in Le Nozze de Figaro, and Baba in The Medium. Ms. Oliver participated in the Opera Theatre of the Rockies’ Vocal Arts Symposium last summerperforming the title role in Blitzstein's Regina, Marthe in Faust, and Augusta in The Ballad of Baby Doe. In 2005, Ms. Oliver traveled to Italy to perform the role of Principessa in Suor Angelica. She has also performed in venues all over the United States as well as in Sweden, Austria, England, and Scotland. Ms. Oliver was a semi-finalist in the Bel Canto and NATS competitions and in 2005 was the winner of the Society of American Musicians.
