Shannon Kaye
Soprano Shannon Kaye developed a true passion for the performing arts when she was cast in her first role as Laurie in Oklahoma during High School. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico where she studied with Leslie Umphrey. Ms. Kaye is a first place winner of the National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition and has been a featured soloist with the Santa Fe Symphony, Santa Fe Opera Mosaics, the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, The New Opera Festival di Roma, and Opera Theatre of the Rockies. Her performances have included the roles of the Usher in Wilder's The Opening, Amor in Gluck's Orfeo and Euridice, Flora in La Traviata, Sarah Goode in The Crucible, and Micaela in Carmen. Ms. Kaye currently studies with Martile Rowland.
