Kate Emerich has performed as a soloist in concerts and recitals both locally and nationally. Her stage repertoire includes the roles of Damigella in The Coronation of Poppea, Mary in The Crucible, and Colette in Le Devin du Village. She recorded original songs by Annetta Rosser that are archived on National Public Radio. Ms. Emerich has performed as a soloist, performing works including the Mozart Requiem, Faure Requiem, Handel's Messiah, and Mozart Vespers, among others. She performed the Rutter Gloria with the Denver Brass, and recently recorded Falla’s Seven Spanish Songs with harpists Courtney Hershey Bress and James Pinkerton. Her latest performance with the Up Close and Musical Chamber Orchestra featured “Piangero” from Handel’s Julius Caesar. In addition to singing, Ms. Emerich is internationally recognized as a voice specialist. She is CEO of her own company, Vocal Essentials, LLC, specializing in vocal instruction and care of the professional voice, which focuses on the optimization and/or rehabilitation of the singing and speaking voice.
