Carl Ficarrotta earned a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Mercer University with departmental honors in music. In years gone by, he worked in several different organizations as both a staff music arranger and a director. As a trumpeter, he performed with the Middle Georgia Symphony and the Band of the Air Force Reserve. More recently, he was a chorister in the Colorado Opera Festival productions of Carmen, La Boheme, Acis & Galetia and The Magic Flute; a chorister in the Opera Theater of the Rockies productions of The Marriage of Figaro and The Daughter of the Regiment; and was featured as Njegus in the Oper
