Winston Jones, bass-baritone

Winston G. Jones holds a Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from Arizona State University and studied under Dr. Jerry Doan and David Britton. He attended the State University of New York at Purchase where he pursued a M.F.A. in Opera Studies studying under Lana Gabrielli. While in Arizona, Winston appeared in such productions as Carmen, Show Boat, La Percheurs De Perles and Cosi Fan Tutte. He currently performs as a soloist throughout the United States. Recently, he performed the role of Balthazar with the Colorado Springs Conservatory and the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs in their production of Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors. Winston has sung locally as a guest performer with the Spirituals Project of Denver. Winston holds a Masters of Science in Education Administration and Foundations from Illinois State University and when he is not singing serves as the Director of Housing and Residential Life at The Colorado College.
