Peter Strand
Choreographer
After retiring from a 20 year career in dance and 22 years since singing with Opera Colorado, Peter is happy to be back in his home town dancing and singing purely for the love of it. He has worked with such companies as Oakland Ballet, Minnesota Ballet, Lexington and Connecticut Ballet. Some other off-beat companies include Les Ballets Trocadero de Monte Carlo, Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre, and Theatre West Virginia Merry-go-Round Playhouse. Internationally, he has worked on the MS Vistafjord as featured dancer and singer, Crystal Cruises, and The Scotia Prince. Some of the modern dance companies he has worked for are Micheal Mao Dance Company, Muna Tseng, Kim Robards, and David Taylor. Now he is happy to be choreographing locally for the Colorado Springs Repertory Theatre, Springs City Ballet as well as Ormao Dance Company. He has also choreographed in Rock Island IL, Nashua NH, Venice Italy, St. George UT, New York NY, and Lexington KY. Recently he has started a new private business PSDesignphotography.com as a photographer and web designer.
