Malcolm Ulbrick

Bass-Baritone Malcolm Ulbrick (Henry Davis) will be making his debut as a principal performer for Opera Theatre of the Rockies in Street Scene. Originally from Lawrence, KS, he now resides in Colorado Springs and received praise for his "powerful performance" (Colorado Springs Gazette) as Gaston in the 2008 Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center's production of Beauty and the Beast. He has studied voice locally with Victoria Hansen and had the honor of studying under acclaimed Bass-Baritone Christopher Roselli as a participant in the Vocal Arts Symposium this past summer at Colorado College. Malcolm has been a member of the Colorado Springs Chorale for four years and was featured as a soloist for excerpts from Mozart's Requiem in 2008. Malcolm has performed in China and Italy as part of a touring Madrigal Choir and has taught English Language and Nutrition in Taiwan and the Marshall Islands. He holds a Masters with Distinction in Exercise Science from the University of Sydney and is a Personal Trainer at Colorado College and a Volunteer PE teacher for grades 5-8 at Immanuel Lutheran School.
